Yulia Lukyanova started her dance training at the tender age of six at the ballet studio in the Kaluga Concert Hall in Russia. She studied diligently there until the age of twelve. From twelve to sixteen Ms. Lukyanova attended the Kaluga Arts School studying a wide variety of arts including classical piano, French language, musical literacy and several forms of dance. Her grades were so impressive that she was soon offered a scholarship to the Kaluga Arts University.
Soon after she began her professional career in the state company “Cossacks of Russia”. Shortly
after she traveled to Germany to perform in “Sultans of the Dance”. Ms. Luyanova’s next endevour took her to Portugal where she performed at the Solverde Casinos with the Ondacruz Dance Company from 2005-2007.
From 2007 to current day Ms. Lukyanova has been dancing with The Moscow Folk Ballet Company in “Riverdance the Show”.
She currently resides in Columbus, Ohio and is looking forward to sharing her knowledge of dance and the joy of stage performing to children and adults of all ages.
